# Achieving EU GDPR compliance in a multi-tenant environment

Aldagi—Georgia’s largest private insurance provider—wanted to enable customers to access its financial services online. To achieve this, Aldagi created distributed, multi-tenant applications to serve its broad EU customer base using self-managed RKE clusters. Then came a hurdle: Aldagi’s applications needed to be EU GDPR-compliant before its services could be fully online.

Using Calico, Aldagi was able to overcome this hurdle and achieve EU GDPR compliance, allowing the company to bring its online services to retail and corporate customers alike. Calico enabled Aldagi to pull compliance evidence on-demand without slowing down the company’s team from deploying new applications.
