# Calico at the Docker Edinburgh meetup

By [Peter White](https://www.tigera.io/blog/author/peter-white/) on Mar 16, 2015 • 1 min read

Just a short post to say that I’ll be talking briefly about Calico in Edinburgh on Thursday 19th March at the [Docker Edinburgh](http://www.meetup.com/Docker-Edinburgh/events/220350058/) meetup. While I’m going to focus on how Calico fits in with Docker generally, Andrew Kennedy from Cloudsoft will be talking about his work to integrate Calico with Clocker and there will be a chance to meet and talk with other people working in the Docker space.

After the meetup, I’ll be producing a longer blog post about this integration, so watch this space!

Practically no one runs a single Kubernetes cluster in production these days. Maybe that’s how it started but data sovereignty requirements, acquisitions, AI initiatives and the need for edge servers, among other considerations, have pulled...
