Calico is an open source networking and network security solution for containers, virtual machines, and native host-based workloads. Calico supports a broad range of platforms including Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker EE, OpenStack, and bare metal services. Calico is trusted and running in production at large enterprises including SaaS providers, financial services companies, and manufacturers. The largest public cloud providers have selected Calico to provide network security for their hosted Kubernetes services (Amazon EKS, Azure AKS, Google GKE, and IBM IKS) running across tens of thousands of clusters.
CalicoCon 2019 is a day of hands-on workshops where you will gain experience with basic and advanced networking and network security for Kubernetes using Calico. With this experience, you will be prepared to architect and implement a scaleable and secure SaaS or CaaS platform.
You will gain hands-on experience
- Building a massively scalable Kubernetes cluster
- Integrating your cluster with an existing enterprise network
- Securing your cluster using Kubernetes Network Policy and Calico Policy
