About the speakers

Alex Shulman Managing Director & Cloud Cybersecurity Leader Americas, EY

Alex Shulman-Peleg, PhD, is a Managing Director leading the Cloud Cybersecurity consulting services of Ernst & Young in the Americas. She is supporting multiple clients in their secure enablement of public clouds and container technologies, addressing the involved risk, cybersecurity and regulatory requirements. In her previous role, she was a Director of Cloud Security at Citibank, where she has established and led a CISO cloud security program, as well as cloud-native security engineering. In her role, she was responsible for the cloud and container security solutions, processes and architectures, delivering protection, detection and auto-remediation in public and private clouds. She has over 22 years of technological leadership. She holds PhD, MSc and BSc degrees in Computer Science. She has multiple patents and more than 30 scientific publications having thousands of citations.

Xiaobo Long Sr. VP of Cloud Platform Security Engineering, Citibank

Xiaobo leads a team to deliver leading edge technology solutions in support of Citi IT strategy. She drives critical solutions to secure Citi’s hybrid cloud environments to enable Citi to reduce risks and stay compliant while allowing Citi’s businesses to benefit from the opportunities that cloud services provide. Xiaobo started her career as a Network Engineer at Goldman Sachs in 2009 after she got her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She has been selected for “Rising Star Award” to represent Citi at the Women’s Bond Club in the financial industry in 2017. She is also on Palo Alto Network Vendor’s Cloud Customer Advisory Board.

Ofer Maor Co-Founder & CTO, Mitiga

Ofer Maor is Co-Founder & CTO of Mitiga, where he is building a ground breaking Cloud Incident Response platform. He has over 25 years of experience in cybersecurity and entrepreneurship, and was previously the CTO and founder of Seeker (acquired by Synopsys), where he invented IAST, a next-generation application security testing technology, currently used by some of the largest organizations in the world. Prior to that he was the CTO and founder of Hacktics (acquired by EY), and a founding employee at Imperva. He is also active in the cybersecurity community, and has served as a Global Board Member for OWASP.

Utpal Bhatt CMO, Tigera

As Chief Marketing Officer for Tigera, Utpal is responsible for overall marketing strategy and execution, Utpal brings 20+ years of Marketing and Product Management leadership experience at high-growth start-ups and large companies. Utpal has a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering and a Masters in Physics from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani (India) and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business.
