Calico at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon NA 2022

Tigera is back at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon NA 2022! We’re excited to be back in person and meet new and familiar faces—and we have a lot of exciting Calico updates to share with you.

KubeCon + CloudNativeCon is action-packed as usual, kicking off the week with co-located events. We will be onsite at two co-located events: eBPF Day and Cloud Native SecurityCon. At the main event, KubeCon + CloudNativeCon, we will have a booth that you can visit for cool swag and deep dives with our experts. We will also be teaming up with AWS to bring you a fun party that you won’t want to miss!

eBPF Day – October 24

eBPF Day is a vendor-neutral conference that explores the transformational technology that is eBPF, and its impact on the future of cloud native. This event is co-located with KubeCon + CloudNativeCon.

As a speaker at the event, our resident eBPF expert, Tomas Hruby, will demonstrate how to inspect and troubleshoot the eBPF mode of Calico Open Source during his talk (details below). This session will equip users with the skills to dive in and diagnose issues in their Kubernetes deployments.

Cloud Native SecurityCon – October 24-25

Cloud Native SecurityCon is designed to foster collaboration, discussion, and knowledge sharing of cloud native security projects and best practices for addressing security challenges and opportunities. That’s why we’re participating in this expert-filled event—not only do we want to propose solutions that can improve what has come before, but we also want to give room to breakthrough technology and empower advances in modern security approaches.

OpenSource After Dark – Oct 26

Tigera is teaming up with AWS to bring you a fun event that you won’t want to miss! Taking place in Detroit’s historic Eastern Market, there will be a variety of exciting activities, from retro arcade and carnival games to a funky bar in a former horse trailer and a photo booth in a VW van! Not sure what to have for dinner? Good thing some of Detroit’s best food trucks will be there. This is the type of party that is sure to be the talk of the show floor the next day.

Joint session with Microsoft – Oct 27

As Microsoft’s 2022 Partner of the Year award winner, Tigera is dedicated in offering security and observability for containerized workloads running on Microsoft Azure.

Learn from Calico and Microsoft Azure experts in this joint session on implementing zero-trust security for workloads running on AKS, including how to deploy zero-trust workload access controls, extend firewall protection at the workload level, block lateral movement of APTs with identity-aware microsegmentation, and achieve continuous compliance.
