TIGERA PRIVACY POLICY

Tigera collects some Personal Data from its users. This Privacy Policy details certain policies implemented throughout Tigera governing the collection and use of Personal Data about users of our sites and our services. Tigera respects the privacy of consumers, including users of our website and those who contact us electronically, telephonically or in person regarding our products or services.

Please read this policy which (together with our Terms of Use and any other documents referred to on it) sets out the basis on which we will treat your information. This policy may vary from time to time so please check it regularly. Any significant changes will be clearly indicated on this page.

  • applications and other forms related to our products and services, registrations for and to attend our events and webinars or for office visits, to provide you with customer support or otherwise communicate with you;
  • use of Tigera.io to provide the necessary functionalities to enable your use of the sites and interactive features;
  • processing device and usage data to develop, improve, manage and customize our sites and services, to assess and improve your user experience, to identify customer opportunities and to guarantee our sites’ and services’ security and continued proper functioning;
  • transactions with us when we process your billing information for the purchase of our products or services; and
  • requests to send marketing communications about us, our products and our services.

THIRD PARTY ANALYTICS TOOLS

Beyond the Personal Data you voluntarily provide to us, Tigera utilizes analytics tools including third party technologies, such as Google Analytics, to collect [insert]. Certain types of information, including location, device type, onsite website usage and behavior, and demographic data is collected and aggregated across Tigera site users for our analysis and advertising efforts.

Tigera uses Remarketing with Google Analytics and Google Adwords to display relevant advertisements to users who have previously visited our Site. Referred to as remarketing or retargeting, Tigera may utilize previous session information to serve display advertisements to you on the site and based on such session information Google may set a cookie and serve ads to you on third party websites on the Google Display Network. Third party vendors such as Google may display Tigera ads on websites across the Internet. Aggregated user data may be utilized to create remarketing/retargeting “lists,” or groups of users with similar onsite behaviors or demographics.

AGGREGATE INFORMATION

Our sites may track the total number of visitors to the site, the number of visitors to each page of our sites, browser type, IP addresses, external websites (defined below) linked to and other aggregated data collected through our services and we may analyze this data for trends and statistics in the aggregate but such information will be maintained, used and disclosed in aggregate form only and it will not contain Personal Data. You acknowledge that Tigera is providing these links to you only as a convenience, and further agree that Tigera is not responsible for the content of such external websites. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Tigera recognizes the privacy interests of children and we encourage parents and guardians to take an active role in their children’s online activities and interests. Neither our site nor our services are intended for children under the age of 16. Tigera does not target its services or this Site to children under 16. Tigera does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 16. By using our site, you represent that you are not under 16 years of age.

SECURITY

We may employ industry standard procedural and technological measures that are reasonably designed to help protect your Personal Data from loss, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. DATA RETENTION AND INTERNATIONAL TRANSFER

If you are using our services, you agree to the transfer of your Personal Data to the United States and processing globally by providing us with that information. If you are a visitor from the European Economic Area, our legal basis for collecting and using the Personal Data described will depend on the Personal Data concerned and the specific context in which we collect it.

We remove information from our computing resources upon the expiration or cancellation of the service, or earlier upon request from a site user or visitor, as applicable. Tigera does
not archive information from Users, however some information may remain in backup files until expiration of such files as governed by Tigera’s backup retention practices. When destroying Personal Data, measures will be taken to make the Personal Data irrecoverable or
irreproducible, and electronic files which contain Personal Data will be deleted permanently. If
immediate deletion is not possible (for example, because your Personal Data has been stored in
backups), then we will securely store your Personal Data and isolate it from any further
processing until deletion is possible.

If you have the right to request and require Tigera to destroy your Personal Data before the
end of its life cycle, Tigera will destroy your Personal Data in accordance with applicable
data protection law.

We may need to retain Personal Data if there are valid grounds under data protection laws for us to do so (e.g., for the defense of legal claims or freedom of expression) but if you have the right to request and ask us to destroy Personal Data, we will let you know if that is the case.

Where you have the right and have requested that we erase Personal Data that has been made available publicly, and there are grounds for erasure, we will use reasonable steps to try to tell others that are displaying the Personal Data or providing links to the Personal Data to erase it too.

You may have a right to require us to stop processing the Personal Data we hold about you other than for storage purposes in certain circumstances. Please note, however, that if we stop processing the Personal Data, we may use it again if there are valid grounds under data protection laws for us to do so (e.g., for the defense of legal claims or for another’s protection). As above, where we agree to stop processing the Personal Data, we will try to tell any third party to whom we have disclosed the relevant Personal Data so that they can stop processing it too.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights under the CCPA.

AUTHORIZED AGENTS

You may designate an authorized agent (a natural person or a business entity registered with the Secretary of State) to make a request on your behalf. The designated agent may be required to provide legal documentation to prove the individual is acting on your behalf. We must also be able to: 1) confirm your identity by verifying certain identifying information, and 2) confirm directly with you that you provided the authorized agent permission to submit the request.

NON-DISCRIMINATION
